Water Kefir & Sauerkraut Making Workshop – 2 Sessions

Melissa Mak is the founder of Singapore Fermentation Friends (formerly Mmm Goodness Probiotics).

Her journey begun due to giardia infection from Hong Kong street food. What started as a hobby became a sharing, and grew to become a community of 1100 members in Singapore. Today, Melissa is happy to be IBS free and works as a physical educator, yoga teacher and wellness coach.

Join us for these exclusive events and learn all you need to make water kefir and sauerkraut (both sessions will make these two products).

High in natural probiotics, these foods are not only delicious but will also help you strengthening your gut, resolving IBS issues and improving your immune system.
Especially joining us from Singapore for this event, Mrs. Mak will explain and demo all you need to know to start and keep your fermentation healthy.

The fermentation kit will be composed of:

2 jars, 1 big one for first fermentation and 1 smaller one for seconds fermentation

raw sugar

dried and wet cultures

a breathable tea towel


The cost is estimated between 200,000 VND and 250,000 VND depending on the price of sugar at that time.

Session 1: 2 September (Friday), 11am to 12.30pm

Session 2: 3 September (Saturday), 11am to 12.30pm

Fee: 700,000 VND
