Address: 19 Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai, Bến Nghé, Quận 1, Hồ Chí Minh

Food type: Vegan Chinese and Cantonese

Variety of dishes: 9 / 10 stars. The menu is really wide and even include dumplings. The foods have a strong Chinese influence and use a lot of frying and steaming methods.

Negative points:

  • use of refined flours or rolls for rolls and dumplings but many alternatives that are wholesome
  • hard to communicate with staff

  • brown rice available for rolls and other dishes
  • very colourful meals
  • decent decor
  • extremely quick service

  1. Just tried Luvi (LuLy) this week, Was impressed with their menu and glad to see brown rice papers used in some dishes but when I asked if they had brown rice to replace white rice they said no. Also, one big complaint, too typical of southern Vietnamese food, SUGAR! I ordered a bun thai (soup) and it was the sweetest I have ever had in VN! Almost un-edible! Will try something else to give them a second chance.
