SUPERFOOD RED BEAN BURGER PATTIES:

Red Beans, Oats, Red Onion, Walnuts, Tahini, Flaxseeds, Onion Powder, Cilantro, Nutritional Yeast, Garlic, Paprika, Cumin, Ginger Powder

There can never be enough ways to incorporate more beans into your diet. This is one of the best. Serve with 100% whole-grain bread with all the fixings or with a large salad for quick dinners. Indulging and filling, these patties check 6 of the 12 Daily Dozen foods from Dr. Greger: beans, other vegetables, flaxseeds, nuts & seeds, herbs & spices and whole grains.

Directions for use: let defrost for 20 minutes outside the fridge or overnight in the fridge; line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper and arrange the burgers on it. Bake at 325°F or 160°C until hot and lightly brown, turning once, for about 25 minutes. Alternatively, heat up a non-stick pan, add 1 tsp of olive oil (optional) and cook at medium low for 7 minutes each side with lid on.
