Music is the soundtrack of our lives; what we listen to affects how we interpret our experiences and create different moods.
Recently I have been enjoying listening to some music while having my daily Ashtanga Yoga practice; I play everything from Tibetian bells, Sitar and relaxing music to Krishna Das, Jai Uttal and Dave Stringer.
This led me to wonder about how other yoga lovers feel about yoga and music. Do they go together or is it a distraction? What music fits you better? Would you like your yoga teacher to play music during your pratice? And if yes, what kind of music?
